As soon as you open the can, the refreshing scent of mint fills the air, accompanied by a citrusy, bitter, and fresh fragrance reminiscent of grapefruit pulp. It's rare to find an energy drink where the aroma alone deserves a perfect score…

When poured into a glass, it surprisingly has a deep pink hue. I had imagined it to be closer to an orange-pink. Pouring it into a glass intensifies the fragrance.

Upon sipping, you’re immediately enveloped by the mint scent, followed swiftly by the intense bitterness of pink grapefruit, which spreads refreshingly. Within the bitterness, the juicy sweetness of the grapefruit pulp can also be felt.

The flavor level is similar to that of Red Bull Organics Bitter Lemon and Red Bull Summer Edition Grapefruit Twist, delivering an excellent bitter fruit taste.

What sets this apart is the minty freshness. The aroma when you first sip is beyond what you'd expect from a canned drink. The mint continues to linger in the aftertaste along with the bitterness, leaving you with the sensation of drinking a mojito packed with mint.

As of 2018, this is one of the top flavors in the 28 BLACK lineup.

It’s great to drink with lots of ice for a refreshing experience, or you can chill it for 30 to 40 minutes to enjoy it at its fullest without losing flavor. Pink Grapefruit Mint is also available in Australia, so I’m glad it’s easy to get my hands on some stock (●´ω｀●).

Contains 80mg of caffeine. It’s marketed as a taurine-free energy drink.

It also contains lemon and grapefruit juice. The delicious bitterness of the fruit must come from the juice itself. While the juice content may not be high, the flavor of Pink Grapefruit Mint is exceptional.
