Released in 2014, ACTION ENERGY SUMMER EDITION. That year marked the first time Action Energy introduced seasonal limited editions, with two summer editions launching simultaneously.

Since mojito is one of my favorite flavors, I was already excited before even taking a sip to see how Action Energy crafted their own version of it! ((o(´∀｀)o))

ACTION ENERGY’s mojito has a beautiful, clear yellow hue. The mojito aroma was rather subtle.

Upon taking a sip, I noticed a richer and more intense sweet-sour lemon-lime flavor than expected, followed by a refreshing minty aftertaste.

If it's only slightly chilled, the citrusy lemon-lime flavor tends to overpower the drink, making it feel more like a robust citrus and mint juice rather than a crisp mojito.

So, I highly recommend serving it with plenty of ice for an authentic mojito experience. The lime flavor becomes more mellow, allowing the previously subtle mint aroma to shine through. That’s when it truly tastes like a mojito! (*´ｪ`*)

Perhaps it was intentionally formulated with a stronger lime taste, assuming it would be enjoyed over ice. A well-chilled 250ml serving is just the right amount to finish in one go. It’s a shame this was only a limited summer edition…

However, while the vibrant colors give it a summery feel, they also make it look like an orange-flavored drink rather than a mojito. If the design had been solely lime green, it might have better captured the essence of a mojito.
