The new 2018 release from bang, the Lemon Drop Sweet Tea from the Tea series. Until now, bang drinks were completely transparent, but the Tea series has the typical color of a tea-based energy drink, and even more surprisingly, it’s incredibly delicious. I’ve finally encountered a flavor of bang that makes me want to drink it.

When poured into a glass, it has a cloudy, tea-like color typical of energy drinks with a tea flavor.

This is the first bang series to have color, as previous drinks were completely clear. I have to say, it looks better with color (●´ω｀●).

When I take a sip, I immediately taste the sweet and refreshing tea flavor... It's delicious! The smoothness of the drink quickly quenches my thirst, and the bitterness and astringency of the tea leaves spread out and clear through my nose, leaving a refreshing aftertaste that’s addictive.

Surprisingly, the sweetness is quite strong, making it satisfying to drink, and the tea aroma is robust. Compared to other energy drinks with tea flavors, I find bang’s to be more satisfying. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to taste this good. With 300mg of caffeine, I wish I could drink more, but it's a bit of a shame.

Since it contains tea leaf extract, there are solid particles floating in it.

The 2020 version of the Lemon Drop Sweet Tea had solid particles floating rather than powder accumulating at the bottom.

It contains 300mg of caffeine, creatine, BCAA, and CoQ10. It’s zero calorie and zero sugar.

This drink is perfect for pre-workout, but the tea flavor is so delicious that it might make you want to relax instead (＾_＾;).

Design of bang LEMON DROP SWEET TEA

In 2021, the design of bang LEMON DROP SWEET TEA was updated, featuring a white base with yellow and lime green liquid design.

In 2022, many existing flavors were mixed with tea, creating a new tea series. The non-carbonated tea series is identified by the brown color on top and bottom.

The reason this bang LEMON DROP SWEET TEA has yellow and lime green is because it inherits the colors from the original design released in 2018.

Since it’s a lemon tea flavor, it could have just been yellow and brown, but for some reason, green was added, which is why the same color combination was used in the 2021 design.

However, no one could have imagined seven years ago that a top global energy drink brand would be chasing after bang. On the other hand, I think other energy drink brands were quite surprised by how quickly bang ventured into tea flavors.

Before, the main reason to choose bang was its high caffeine content, but after the tea series launched, it became "I buy bang because I want this flavor." I really hope they don’t discontinue it.
