Bang is colorless and transparent. Since the can packaging color is exactly like the Pina Colada itself, I thought maybe the drink would have some color, but once again, it’s colorless (^_^;) It seems like drinking it straight from the can, without pouring it into a glass, would enhance the Pina Colada vibe.

The aroma is quite strong, and the coconut scent is so overpowering that those who aren’t fond of it might have trouble drinking it Σ(´∀｀；)

On the first sip, the strong coconut fragrance makes it hard to taste the distinct pineapple flavor of a Pina Colada.

However, oddly enough, you start to get used to the rich scent over time... There have been other flavors in the past that felt awkward at first but became more familiar as I drank them, and this one feels the same. It’s a case where getting used to something can be a bit scary.

Once you get accustomed to the coconut aroma, the sweetness of the pineapple becomes more noticeable, and it truly starts to taste like a Pina Colada. When the coconut scent was overpowering, it was hard to notice, but as the pineapple flavor shines through, you begin to enjoy the fruity sweetness with every sip. The coconut flavor also balances out, allowing you to appreciate the drink’s authentic deliciousness.

There’s a slight acidity, and you can taste a bit of the artificial sweetener, but if you chill it thoroughly, you won’t mind it. Given the strong aroma, I recommend drinking it ice-cold and enjoying it in big gulps.

Bang Pina Colada is the first can to break away from the typical black can design of the Bang series, instead using a color that reflects the flavor and gives an easy visual cue of what’s inside.

The gold top and gold tab combination is completely different from the usual Bang series. Since 2019, the cans have transitioned to silver tops across all flavors, but for Pina Colada, the gold top truly suits the vibe.
