Battery Energy Drink was founded in Finland in 1997 and is one of the world's leading energy drink brands, with a significant share in the Nordic countries. It has been available in Japan since 2016.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. Sharp and Bitter Chemical Flavor

Upon tasting, it has a sharp, bitter, dry chemical flavor. The aftertaste is pleasantly fruity and tangy, leaving a smooth and enjoyable finish. It's one of my personal favorite chemical flavors.

The sweetness is not overpowering, and the fragrance doesn’t linger too long, making Battery's chemical flavor easy to drink. If it's too sweet, it can end up tasting like a children's medicine, which makes it feel cheap.

Since the original design is a simple logo, the cans have featured a wide range of fun designs (Σ(´∀｀；) ). As a fan, it's great to see such creativity.

By the way, the original Battery Energy Drink’s flavor varies slightly depending on the country. For instance, I’ve tried it in Japan, Finland, and Norway, and although there are differences due to manufacturing years, the sweetness and sharpness differ a little. If I get the chance to compare across countries, I’d love to share my findings.
