This is the Apple flavor from BIG SHOCK ENERGY, a representative energy drink brand from the Czech Republic.

The Apple flavor was launched in September 2014, and it feels like this was when BIG SHOCK’s design started to evolve. At the same time, the brand began to aggressively pursue its own unique flavor lineup.

By 2019, the design became very simple, and the distinctive illustration of the girl was removed, which changed the overall image. However, the exquisite apple flavor remains unchanged.

In this review, I will introduce the unique apple flavor and design from when it was first released.

The moment I opened it, a strong, tangy apple-like aroma immediately burst out. It seems like a rich apple flavor is in store ((o(´∀｀)o))

When poured into a glass, it has a bright champagne gold color. Given the strong aroma, I expected it to be more like a rich apple juice color.

The flavor, however, is quite different from the aroma. My first impression was that it has a refreshing apple taste with a solid sweetness and very little acidity. I had imagined a more tart apple flavor with citric acid, but this was totally different.

The sweetness of the apple is the main flavor, with almost no acidity. Even after drinking it, the apple aroma that lingers in the nose enhances the fruity sweetness even more.

The aftertaste is great as well, with a lingering sweetness and aroma of the apple, but there is no residual aftertaste typical of apples, making it easy to drink and well-balanced. This is delicious (*´ｪ`*)

As an apple-flavored energy drink, I believe BIG SHOCK Apple is one of the best in the world. It’s an apple flavor that everyone can enjoy.

It contains the standard energy ingredients: 160mg of caffeine and 2000mg of taurine.

It contains 10% fruit juice. Given the rich aroma and sweetness, I was expecting a higher percentage of juice, but I was surprised to learn it's only 10%.

I never expected much before drinking it, but after actually tasting it, I was blown away by how this apple flavor is one of the best out there.
