With a name like "Exotic," I was curious about what kind of flavor it would have. Upon opening the can, I was surprised by the burst of fresh, tropical fruit scents filling the air. It's one of those moments where you can already tell it's going to taste great just from the smell.

The drink is a bright, slightly cloudy orange-yellow, and there are no impurities, pulp, or cloudiness typical of juice with fruit pulp.

When I took a sip, a gentle tropical fruit flavor spread in my mouth, with a mix of orange, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and peach. The refreshing sweetness of the fruit and the balanced, mild acidity make it incredibly easy to drink all at once without taking a breath. There's a very slight thickness typical of fruit mixes, but it leaves a pleasant smoothness on the tongue and naturally slides down the throat, making it so easy to drink. It’s surprisingly delicious! I think most people would enjoy this tropical fruit juice.

Exotic takes the best aspects of drinks like the bold M-80 and the balanced tartness and lightness of Red Bull Tropical Edition. Plus, its refreshing taste and smoothness make it feel bright and uplifting, no matter when you drink it.

It has the standard BIG SHOCK energy blend with 160mg of caffeine and 2000mg of taurine.

Surprisingly, the juice content is only 10%. That’s a shocking low amount of juice (*´艸｀*). The juice mix includes apple, mango, orange, and passion fruit.

The front of the can features a DJ that looks a bit reggae-inspired. There are leaves drawn on the can, which had me wondering how that relates to the tropical fruit flavor... until the design changed and it all made sense. Or rather, I understood it.

The left can is the second generation, while the right is the first generation of Exotic.

The second generation of Exotic had a slightly altered design, and what I had thought were leaves were actually palm trees. It’s funny how I only noticed this now, but looking closely, it’s clear they’re palm trees, which makes much more sense for a tropical fruit drink! The confusion about the tropical fruit connection has now been cleared up. Haha!

The top of the can also underwent a change from the first generation to the second, making the island tropical theme much more obvious.
