Upon opening the can, a faint pear-like aroma drifts out. The carbonation helps carry the scent, but once poured into a glass, the pear fragrance becomes so subtle that it’s hard to distinguish. Let’s give it a taste.

As I take a sip, I notice a light mouthfeel with mild sweetness, acidity, and a gentle pear aroma.

There's no deep pear richness or body, and only a slight residual sensation lingers. Most people would likely find the pear flavor quite weak.

Even considering that it’s sugar-free, the lack of aroma and depth makes it easy to grow tired of drinking it.

When chilled in the refrigerator, the flavor feels vague and lacks impact, so I decided to try it with ice.

While the vague flavor transforms into a crisper, more refreshing drinking experience, the fragrance remains too weak to provide a fruity, invigorating aftertaste. In the end, no matter how it’s consumed, it still feels lacking. Strengthening the aroma would undoubtedly improve the overall flavor profile.

Design of BIG SHOCK PEAR FUSION

With a matte texture, the simple design features a white base representing sugar-free and zero-calorie, complemented by a yellow-green accent reflecting the flavor.

BIG SHOCK typically uses yellow as its primary brand color, so even just having a white can effectively conveys the product concept.

Previously, BIG SHOCK had a “BIG SHOCK ZERO SUGAR” series featuring silver with flavor accents, but since 2021, they have rebranded with a new white sugar-free series. Personally, I find this white design much cleaner and more appealing.
