Flavor of Fruit Mix & Oolong Vitamin C

The scent when opening the can is unmistakably like Oolong Vitamin C. It almost makes you think they've aimed for a traditional Japanese energy drink flavor.

When you take a sip, the taste is a sweet fruit mix flavor with a slight chemical note reminiscent of Oolong Vitamin C. It’s surprisingly easy to drink and quite decent, much better than expected compared to the usual energy drink flavors (^_^;)

The product name "You’re THE SUPER" seems a bit of a gimmick, and with the Blackout series, I wasn’t expecting much in terms of taste. However, the recent releases have all been surprisingly tasty.

The sweet fruit mix flavor of "You’re THE SUPER" has no off-flavors, and the lingering aftertaste and subtle medicinal flavor that gradually fades away don’t overpower the fruit mix, maintaining a nice balance.

The aftertaste leaves a light fruit syrup flavor, but there’s no lingering or sticky aftertaste, making it much fresher than expected.

When chilled, the sweetness of the fruit mix softens, and the chemical note becomes a pleasant addition. It’s enjoyable even at fridge temperature, and it’s also delicious when served with ice for a quick drink (๑´ڡ`๑)

I had hoped the Blackout series would have more of a quirky, gimmicky flavor, but recently, the flavors in the Blackout series are so well-crafted that they stand up to, if not surpass, the major brands. It’s no joke.

Contains 190mg of caffeine, 620mg of arginine, 2.7mg of aspartic acid, 3.2mg of alanine, 2.7mg of isoleucine, and ginseng.

The key ingredient here is likely caffeine. 190mg per can is on the higher side. If you’re drinking other caffeinated beverages like coffee or small-sized energy drinks, you’ll want to keep an eye on your total daily caffeine intake.
