Jungle Juice—just the sound of it makes you excited. However, when poured into a glass, it follows the same pattern as Mario's energy drink... The color inside is a classic yellow, and the scent is quite similar to Mario's as well.

So, how does it taste? Upon tasting it, there is a much stronger sourness compared to Mario's drink, which feels a bit too overpowering for a classic flavor. The scent is similar to that of Red Bull and other common energy drinks, but the sourness is too strong, and honestly, it's not that enjoyable (ヽ´ω`).

Considering the potential for degradation, it seems likely that this shares the same flavor as Mario's yellow drink.

Actually, Donkey Kong's energy drink also comes in a different variant with a red interior in the same packaging. The red Jungle Juice seems like it would offer more of a fruity flavor, so if I get the chance, I would love to try the red one (^_^;).

However, it's still unclear what the difference is between this simplified flavor and the version made with different flavors and colors. I’ve been researching, but it’s still uncertain whether these variations are due to different times or something else.

Energy Ingredients of Donkey Kong Jungle Juice

The energy ingredients include 120mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, 50mg of inositol, 25mg of guarana, and 25mg of ginseng, making up the Boston America energy blend.

Considering the name "Jungle Juice," it would have been more interesting to include ingredients that match the theme, but maybe it’s a bit much to expect that from a character goods manufacturer like Boston America…

Game Character Collaborations Are a Good Match

With a character like Donkey Kong, who has such a distinctive background, it seems like the energy drink could have something truly special in terms of both flavor and ingredients. These kinds of products are always the easiest to review (笑).

However, in the case of Donkey Kong this time, the contents were quite disappointing… It's such a globally recognized character, so it's a shame (-_-;) Well, I guess I just ended up with a miss this time.

Of course, Donkey Kong is a Nintendo-certified energy drink.

The pull tab is silver. A red or yellow tab would have made the atmosphere even better.
