Delicious Apple Flavor, Just Like Sonic

I expected a rich fruit punch flavor from Dragon Punch based on its name, but when I opened it, the scent was nothing like a punch at all...

When I poured it into a glass, I saw the familiar bright blue... Ah, this is just like the Sonic Energy Drink. I recognized it the moment I saw it (^_^;)

When I drank it, I realized that the contents are exactly the same as the Sonic Energy Drink. The tangy apple flavor, refreshing sweetness, and the juicy fruit taste are incredibly delicious every time I drink it. It's one of the top apple flavors out there.

The aftertaste is also exquisite, with a gentle apple flavor lingering, but it's so refreshing and pleasant. I'm glad I got to taste this flavor again, but there's definitely a suspicion that the contents are reused. There are several other energy drinks from Boston America with different packaging but the same contents. What a shame...

Actually, this is my fifth review of a Boston America energy drink today. It's pretty tough to write a review when the taste is the same, but the packaging is different (ヽ´ω`)

By the way, the Street Fighter Dragon Punch Energy Drink isn't just available in this light blue version that I'm reviewing now; there's also a light pink version. Even if you buy "Ken," there's a good chance the contents might differ.

Street Fighter Dragon Punch Energy Drink's Energy Ingredients

120mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, and a Boston America blend with guarana and ginseng. The blend is pretty standard, but since it has more caffeine than the same amount of Red Bull, you should be cautious not to overdo it.

Street Fighter and Ken Have Nothing to Do With It, Haha

Boston America's energy drink lineup is full of collaboration products, but they almost always reuse the same contents. So, if you buy one hoping to taste a new flavor, you might end up with something different inside.

The Street Fighter Dragon Punch in this case has absolutely no alignment with its product concept. They just licensed the brand, randomly filled the can with the same old contents, and sold it. As an energy drink product, it's quite underwhelming. You won’t even know what flavor you’re getting until you open it Σ(´∀｀；)

I wish both the product and its contents were more thoughtfully crafted.
