burn COLLECTOR
Burn Collector was released in France in November 2012.
The contents are the same as burn INTENSE, but since there is no "INTENSE" label, I thought it might be a different product, so I decided to open it and review it. I want to write a review not only to share how amazing the design is but also to discuss how the wingslide cap has aged over time.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Flavor of burn COLLECTOR
When opened, a sweet and tangy berry juice scent full of sugar fills the air. It has a somewhat artificial scent that is quite characteristic.
However, when poured into a glass, no carbonation bubbles form at all. I actually wondered, "Is this really the same as the regular Burn?" because it was so quiet. The color is a dull, transparent red. It seems slightly different in brightness from the Japanese Burn. Personally, I prefer the brighter red of the Japanese version (●´ω`●).
When I drank it, there was no sweetness, and instead, a strong tart red berry flavor. And once again, no carbonation!
There’s hardly any sweetness that you would expect from typical berry drinks. Overall, the taste feels flat, with only the tartness lingering, which honestly makes it taste bad (^_^;).
So, I checked the information on the can regarding carbonation, but of course, there’s no mention of being non-carbonated. This likely means the carbonation has dissipated, and the product has further deteriorated. It would be interesting if Burn Collector was a non-carbonated version of Burn, but that's highly unlikely…
After asking a French friend, I learned that it was indeed too old, and the carbonation had gone flat. I wasn’t disappointed by this, as I had expected it, and it actually helped me realize how well the wingslide cap preserves the drink.
Through this review, I hope people will understand that after 3 years of storage, with a wingslide cap, you can experience such taste degradation and complete loss of carbonation. By 2015, Burn Collector had become like this.
Design of burn COLLECTOR
Burn COLLECTOR was created in collaboration with the French graffiti artist NASTY.
The back of the can features a design resembling spray paint.
There was also a promotional video made, and I personally really love how Burn has been properly produced as a brand. Sponsoring events and hosting them is fine, but I think it's great when a brand focuses on elevating itself.
After the release of Burn COLLECTOR, another collaboration can, LOVE ME, was launched. I hope to see more unique collaboration cans released in France in the future! I’m looking forward to it ((o(´∀`)o)).
