In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

Ugh, too beautiful...

When poured... the color is a suspicious blue. It sparkles.
The fragrance is also quite strong, with a heavy kiwi & apple scent that immediately hits as soon as the can is opened. This strong scent is exactly what I associate with energy drinks.
The taste is just as expected, kiwi and apple. If I had to choose, the apple flavor is a bit stronger. True to its name, "REFRESH ENERGY," it has a refreshing scent and is actually pretty tasty.
If you didn’t know it was an energy drink, you'd think it was a delicious fruit juice with this flavor, which could make it popular.

The aftertaste leaves a bit of apple acidity but is clean and refreshing. It might be something you'd want to drink during summer sports. It might not be widely accepted, but personally, I feel like it’d be great to drink when you're out of breath from physical activity. Like after a hard game of basketball, a drink of REFRESH ENERGY.

By the way, it seems that REFRESH ENERGY has a touch of flavor from the "blue agave," which is the main ingredient in tequila. If they were going all-in with the flavor, they could even make this the main note, not just an accent.
