In April 2023, a release party for CELSIUS SPARKLING OASIS VIBE was held in conjunction with Coachella. The atmosphere of the party reminded me of the vibrant energy of the 2000s, when energy drinks in the U.S. were at their peak. I had the chance to experience this in real-time, and it gave me a mix of nostalgia and the overwhelming feeling of how much CELSIUS' popularity is growing.
By the end of 2023, CELSIUS had dramatically expanded its market share, and following the release of CELSIUS SPARKLING OASIS VIBE, the brand had grown into one of the top three energy drink brands in the U.S.

Flavor of CELSIUS SPARKLING OASIS VIBE
When opening the can, a bitter citrus fruit aroma fills the air. It has a pink grapefruit-like scent. Let's give it a try.
Upon taking a sip, I notice a limeade-like tang and a slight sweetness, followed by a grassy, slightly bitter cactus flavor that seems to emerge. This was a scent I didn’t pick up when I opened the can, and I was surprised to discover that it was hidden beneath the citrus aroma.
The flavor is called "Prickly Pear Lime," which is a mix of cactus and lime. Initially, I didn’t expect this when I opened the can, but after tasting it, I found that the flavor and aroma truly match the name, which is interesting.
There is a slight aftertaste, but the refreshing cactus flavor leaves a cool, clean finish. Even though it’s sugar-free, the changes in flavor and aroma make it a rich and sophisticated cactus & lime flavor that can be enjoyed without any guilt.
Energy Ingredients of CELSIUS SPARKLING OASIS VIBE
It contains 200mg of caffeine, taurine, guarana, glucuronolactone, ginger, and green tea.
CELSIUS boasts its unique "Metaplus Blend" formula, which includes ginger root, guarana seed extract, chromium, vitamins, and green tea extract, claiming to support fat-burning. Drinking it before exercise may provide a slight fat-burning effect.
Design of CELSIUS SPARKLING OASIS VIBE
With "OASIS VIBE" as the theme, the design evokes the image of a desert oasis, with the desert and emerald green of the oasis creating a beautiful and not-too-flashy contrast.
The "OASIS" part is designed with a mirage-like distortion, adding to the atmosphere.
Since the product name is abstract, it’s hard to guess the flavor just from the appearance, but the flavor name "Prickly Pear Lime (Cactus & Lime)" is small but clearly written.
CELSIUS has typically used fruit names for its product names, but with the VIBE series, I believe they’ve aimed for an abstract image that's easier to promote to younger audiences. I think the naming is especially fitting for a party vibe.
At Coachella 2023, they held a release party for CELSIUS SPARKLING OASIS VIBE, and it’s clear that they’re increasingly targeting young people with a strong influence from the fitness category.
It’s evident that the brand has been expanding its influence, especially targeting young influencers and those aspiring to be like them, through social media, which is a different approach from other energy drink brands. The new VIBE series will likely accelerate this trend even further.
