Released on April 18, 2022, the second installment of the Godzilla Energy series: "Godzilla Energy 2: Burning Godzilla."

For the second installment, two types of Godzilla Energy were released simultaneously. This review focuses on the Burning Godzilla inspired by the 1995 movie *Godzilla vs. Destoroyah*. The concept of "an energy drink made from the superheated Burning Godzilla" is perfectly captured, adding a playful touch to the product.

This color, which Cheerio officially describes as "an orange representing the glowing energy running wild inside Godzilla's body," when poured into a glass, has a dense, amber-colored, orange glow. It looks artificial and unhealthy. The scent that bursts along with the carbonation is reminiscent of a familiar, straightforward vibe, similar to Oronamin C or Dekavita.

When I taste it, I get a mild, traditional Oronamin C-like flavor. The acidity, aroma, and carbonation are all quite restrained, making the punch less intense than I expected.

It feels somewhat cheap and lacks a savory taste. However, the moderate chemical scent of the "energy drink flavor" gives a classic, recognizable taste that will satisfy most energy drink drinkers.

That said, based on the image of Burning Godzilla, I expected a stronger flavor, but surprisingly, it was rather plain. With the lack of flavor and aroma changes throughout, finishing a 500ml can can be quite a task.

It contains 210mg of caffeine, 680mg of arginine, guarana, and maca. The 210mg of caffeine, common to the Godzilla Energy series, is intense.

The "Oxygen Destroyer" is a weapon used underwater to make the surrounding area an oxygen-deprived state, capable of defeating Godzilla, but it also awakened the ancient Destoroyah… it seems.

I had never seen *Godzilla vs Destoroyah*, but after researching for this review, I found myself incredibly intrigued by the setting of Burning Godzilla, Destoroyah, and even the "Oxygen Destroyer." I wonder if it will show up on Netflix...?
