Coca Cola ENERGY started in Europe, and after some complications with Monster Energy in the U.S., it was finally released there as well, with a 355ml "big size." This Cherry flavor was released as the world's first in the U.S.

Later, a 250ml version of the Cherry flavor was released in Europe, but since Energy Drink Mania follows the policy of featuring original products at the time of release, I’ll review the 355ml version.

Sweet and Gentle Cherry Coke Flavor

Upon opening, there’s a sweet aroma of cherry and the distinctive cola scent. The color is just like regular cola. I was expecting the pink of the can to reflect in the drink itself, but that wasn't the case.

When you take a sip, you’re greeted with the sweet, smooth flavor of cherry and cola. This is delicious (๑´ڡ`๑), and as expected, Coca-Cola's cherry coke is the best.

The authentic "real cola taste" that Coca-Cola is known for shines through, and the gentle cherry flavor, without any acidity, creates a soothing Cherry Coke experience. The aftertaste is minimal, making it easy to drink and very refreshing.

There’s no strong punch, but the cherry and cola flavors blend smoothly without overpowering each other – it’s the perfect cherry coke flavor. I thought it might have more acidity or stronger flavors, but it’s soft and gentle, making it very easy to enjoy. It’s a flavor I absolutely love (●´ω｀●).

Contains 114mg of caffeine and guarana. Even with the larger 355ml size for the American market, the caffeine content per 100ml is the same worldwide. Also, one distinctive feature of Coca-Cola Energy is that it’s taurine-free.

Not only is the top vibrant pink, but two-thirds of the can features a brown base, giving the overall design a softer and more gentle impression.

Most cola-flavored energy drinks don’t make me want to repurchase them, but Coca-Cola Energy Cherry is outstanding, even though it’s not the original cola flavor. It’s one of the best cherry coke variations I've tried.

Coca-Cola Energy itself hasn’t really gained much traction, so I’d recommend trying it before it gets discontinued (^_^;)
