CULT COLA
Denmark’s energy drink brand, CULT, brings its take on cola. As indicated by the label "World’s Strongest Cola," it originally contained caffeine levels comparable to energy drinks. However, for most of its time on the market, it was sold with a lower caffeine content.
Now, let’s dive into a review of the world’s strongest cola.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Flavor of CULT ENERGY COLA
Opening the can releases a sweet cola aroma. Even after eight years since production, it still retains a strong carbonation. Let’s take a sip.
Upon tasting, it has a sweet, low-acidity, and smooth cola flavor. The acidity is mild, with minimal aftertaste and no unnecessary bitterness, making it easy to drink.
At the same time, the cola’s sweetness is soft and silky, making it an easy and natural drink compared to regular cola. The quality is quite high.
Third-party colas often fail to reach the deliciousness of Coca-Cola, but CULT ENERGY COLA is unlikely to divide opinions—it’s just that well-balanced.
European cola energy drinks, including CULT ENERGY, tend to have a high level of refinement, with a clean taste and minimal unnecessary bitterness, making them widely acceptable.
Energy Ingredients of CULT ENERGY COLA
It contains 37.5mg of caffeine and guarana. The CULT COLA reviewed here is the low-caffeine type, with 15mg per 100ml.
There was also a high-caffeine version with 32mg per 100ml, but the low-caffeine variant ended up being the longer-selling product.
The phrase "World's Strongest Cola" stands out prominently.
Some overseas articles have referred to CULT COLA as "the world’s strongest cola with 320mg per can," but in reality, the correct statement is that it contains 320mg per liter, not per can.
Design of CULT ENERGY COLA
The can features a matte-finished, deep red color combined with black, giving it a bold and dark impression.
With a crown symbol and a jaguar-like silhouette, the design conveys a sense of prestige, emphasizing its image as "the cola with the most caffeine."
Although CULT ENERGY had been around for about ten years by 2013, the branding still included some meaningless phrases and lacked refinement. From around 2021, the brand underwent a significant redesign, becoming more polished—but by that time, CULT COLA was discontinued. Unfortunately, it is no longer available today… what a shame.
