Flavor of Monster Energy Limited Gear: 5 Types Got, I Think

I was able to apply for the campaign to win 5 types of limited Monster Energy gear for the first 10,000 people, which started on June 16, 2014. Despite various commotions, I believe I was able to get them "probably." Since it's a first-come, first-served basis with a limited quantity, and the winners will be confirmed upon shipping, I should be able to confirm it once they arrive. There was a bit of uncertainty about whether I was able to apply properly during yesterday's commotion, though.
(Added note: If you submitted the application form and received a confirmation email, you've successfully applied for all the limited gear. Items that are no longer available will be marked on the site and you won’t be able to apply, so no worries.)

I chose a men's M size for the T-shirt, since it was available only in that size. It’s American sizing, so M should be fine. When I was in the US, I was about the average height for a Japanese person and worked out, and M was just right. L would have been too big. If you're slim, S should be good.
However, I think the women's T-shirt had a better design. Skinny guys should try women’s M! Though it might be a stretch.

The beanie and mesh cap might not be super useful, but they’re good as part of a collection, haha. The backpack and T-shirt are the most exciting, though. They should be really practical.

Highest Access Count Ever

Real-time access was over 320, and by the end of the day, there were about 8,400 PVs. This is the highest access count in Energy Drink Mania’s history. Since there haven’t been many records in the past, it’s been constantly breaking limits, but yesterday’s numbers will likely remain the highest for a while.
(Added note: On June 16th, the access numbers increased to 15,000 PVs. Thank you so much!)

Since the official site hadn’t released any information, many came rushing to us, and I hope that through this, more people will get to know about the various energy drinks and the passionate fans behind them. Personally, it was a really great experience. Many people also followed us (ｕ_ｕ*)!

Even though the 24:00 Registration Started, I Didn’t Sleep Until After 2:00

I’ll write more details about this later, but... due to issues with the Monster application page, we couldn’t apply as planned, and the Monster Energy fans were stirred up on Twitter. Eventually, the registration became available again, and only those who were awake managed to successfully apply.

Personally, I didn’t feel like it was “an outrage” but rather a kind of chaos where everyone was confused. Of course, it’s understandable that some people were angry, but there were also many tweets from people who were sort of enjoying the situation, and I wasn’t the only one thinking, "This is crazy..."
I think it was probably the day when the most Monster Energy fans came together in Japan.

Anyway, I’ll write a separate post summarizing yesterday’s events.
