On July 7th, Red Bull Summer Edition was released in Japan for a limited time, and many websites announced the press release. At Energy Drink Mania, we were able to update the news right away (●´ω`●)
A little later, the Red Bull Summer Edition was also featured on curation-type news sites and Line News, where the Energy Drink Mania page for Red Bull was referenced.
It wasn’t an overwhelming amount of traffic, but there was a steady flow of visitors from Line News.
Curation-type references are hard to understand and feel more like a formality, but many people tapped on these ambiguous links and visited, which made me happy to think that they might have peeked into the world of energy drinks.
It might be a hassle, but if curation media would at least include a site overview, it could be a bit better, haha.
It’s impressive how even a simple new product from a beverage manufacturer can generate press releases from various industries. It really shows how closely Red Bull is connected with a wide range of industries. The promotion strategies they’ve been using worldwide are completely different from regular companies. Whether the Summer Edition will sell out or not, their methods are incredibly effective. In fact, no one else can replicate it, haha.
