DRIVE M7 ENERGY DRINK Carbonated
This is the carbonated version of DRIVE M7 from Malaysia. By adding carbonation to the original non-carbonated version, it has become a more accessible flavor even for those not accustomed to the sweet energy drinks commonly found in Southeast Asia.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Caramel-like Sweetness with a Refreshing Muscat Aftertaste
The contents are the same color and scent as the non-carbonated DRIVE M7. However, the carbonation helps the aroma spread more compared to the original non-carbonated version.
When you take a sip, the flavor is sweet, like syrup, with a fruity tartness, and after about 10 seconds, it transforms into a refreshing Muscat-like aftertaste and aroma, just like the original DRIVE M7 flavor. Thanks to the carbonation, it feels refreshing and easy to drink.
It’s not intensely carbonated but lightly fizzy, so there’s no sharp bite or strong stimulation, but the added carbonation provides a surprisingly refreshing feeling. I can’t help but think it would have been better to go for the carbonated version from the start.
By the way, the version of DRIVE M7 sold in the US and Japan was the carbonated version.
Energy Ingredients of DRIVE M7 ENERGY DRINK Carbonated
Contains caffeine and taurine. The exact amounts were not listed.
Design of DRIVE M7 ENERGY DRINK Carbonated
The white can simply features the DRIVE M7 logo, which might cause it to be mistaken for a sugar-free product at first glance.
The side of the can features the "Premium" logo. The price is slightly higher than the non-carbonated DRIVE M7, but the contents don’t feel much different, and the can itself doesn’t convey a sense of luxury, which is a bit disappointing.
Interestingly, a limited-edition design was also released in Malaysia.
It remained in stock for quite a long time, and I imagine that the higher price compared to the original may have contributed to its slow sales.
At the bottom of the can, it says "limited edition."
Overall, it seems like there are cars and racers depicted, but I’m not sure about the details of the design (^_^;)
