In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

Flavor of Beast Eye Sapphire

Beast Eye was known for its distinctive green color, but this Beast Eye Sapphire, as the package suggests, is blue inside as well.
The taste and aroma are quite perplexing, with a sweet cider-like or ramune-like flavor. The color, combined with the taste, reminds me of Blue Hawaii syrup poured over shaved ice. The sweetness is not too strong, probably because it's a calorie-off product.
However, it's strange how even the carbonation bubbles in such a color look artistic... (u_u*)

Beast Eye Sapphire
The taste remains a mystery, and the blue color makes it unmistakably Blue Hawaii. The color when poured instantly gives a sense of letdown (;´∀`).
By the way, Blue Hawaii can have any flavor, but it often tastes like ramune or soda. Beast Eye Sapphire tastes like Blue Hawaii, and personally, I didn't find it very delicious. I’m not a big fan of shaved ice, to begin with...

Energy Ingredients of Beast Eye Sapphire

Sweeteners used include Acesulfame K, Stevia, and Sucralose. If these were used, it seems like it could have been made calorie-free.
The energy ingredients include a very small amount of caffeine at 35mg. Arginine is also on the low side with just 60mg. BCAAs are included with the ideal 1:2:1 ratio, but the amount is only 240mg.

Additionally, Maca is included, but the amount is unclear. From the ingredients, you might not feel much of the typical energy drink vibe.
