enemania
It seems like another strange energy drink has been released exclusively at Lawson. It's called Enemania.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Package Design...
The can design looks like a generic soda. Honestly, it's surprising this made it to the shelves. The product name "enemania" is the only text, and there is no other information. The "carbonated drink" label is written small in a corner.
On the side, there is a star symbol. It's impressive that all the stars are full marks, and the romance section finishes with a heart mark!
This is something else. It's unlike anything I've ever seen in an energy drink.
Taste of Enemania
The taste is a strong, sour vitamin drink type. The sourness is so strong that there's almost no sweetness.
The scent is like soap or shampoo, and with no sweetness or heaviness, the aroma hits first before you taste the sourness. Even though I thought I wouldn't drink it again, I ended up sipping it slowly while thinking, and surprisingly, by the end, I was drinking it normally (;´∀`).
Is it bad? It's not delicious. I feel like many would say it's bad due to the scent.
Energy Ingredients of Enemania
The energy ingredients are standard. 80mg of caffeine in a 250ml can, the same as Red Bull. It also contains 300mg of arginine and 100mg of royal jelly.
As an energy drink, it's a normal level with no sense of being underwhelming.
However, I've mentioned this several times: adding the same ingredients as Red Bull or Monster and releasing it as an energy drink doesn’t hold much meaning.
By the way, when I searched for Enemania, I expected to find the product page, but it led to something completely different, which was hilarious. I guess they didn't check for potential conflicts before choosing this product name. Normally, you'd think they'd search during the planning stage to check for any overlaps.
The triangular design also doesn't seem to have a clear concept, and it made a strong impression as a very unusual product.
