I came across GRON ENERGY at a drugstore, Coscos. It’s sold by Tokiwakasei Pharmaceutical, but there’s barely any information about it, not even on its official website. It has a somewhat obscure, minor feel to it since it's not a product you see very often.

The color and scent are characteristic of the classic energy drink flavor. There’s a faint medicinal scent in the air.

Upon taking a sip, a slightly chemical scent accompanies the sweet and sour flavor that is reminiscent of Red Bull’s classic taste. It’s not too sweet, and the scent isn’t overwhelming. The aftertaste is mildly acidic, making it overall an easy-to-drink, non-offensive flavor.

The initial chemical scent is faint, but overall it’s a sharp taste similar to Red Bull, capturing the essence of what many expect from an energy drink.

It contains 100mg of caffeine and 250mg of arginine. The caffeine content is slightly higher than Red Bull’s (which contains 80mg in the same size). The arginine is slightly lower than Red Bull’s, so it’s hard to tell the difference between the two. With this slight difference, you may not feel much of a difference in terms of effects.

This design, using only red, black, and white, gives off the impression of a traditional Chinese medicinal drink rather than an energy drink. It’s a curious product that might make you think, "What is this?" at first glance.

The manufacturer, Tokiwakasei Pharmaceutical, also produces a nutritional drink called "GRON BITTER," which seems to be a sister product to GRON ENERGY. Interestingly, GRON ENERGY isn’t listed on Tokiwakasei Pharmaceutical’s website.

The availability of GRON ENERGY seems quite limited. I have only seen it in the Coscos drugstore.
