The first edition, Go-Go Energy Juggler, was released in 2014 during the first energy drink boom. It's hard to believe that after 7 years... it’s being released again. The product is sold by Daiko, a pachinko-related goods manufacturer.

Single-release energy drinks like this tend to either have a lackluster flavor or end up being surprisingly good. So, which category does Juggler Energy fall into?

The first edition, Go-Go Energy was sold for about three years, and the second edition, Juggler Energy, has already been on sale for nearly two years. It was expected to be a short-lived, one-off product, but it seems to have had a surprisingly long run. It might be interesting to make it a series with slight changes in flavor and packaging.

By the way, many online articles about the 2021 Juggler Energy release state that it’s the “second edition released in 2018,” but this is actually incorrect. The second edition was released in 2014.

The correct timeline is that the first edition, released by West Marketing Japan in 2014, was discontinued around 2018. Afterward, the rights became available and the second edition was released by the current pachinko-related goods company, Daiko (confirmed with the manufacturer).
