Due to its success, the brand transitioned to a gel product, "ORGANIX," making the original energy drink version discontinued.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. Refreshing Fruit Tea-like Energy Drink
Upon opening, a sweet aroma and slightly cloudy liquid with brownish sediment are visible.
The taste is sweet, like fruit tea, with a fresh tea flavor and a solid fruit sweetness. The refreshing bitterness of yerba mate balances the sweetness, leaving a crisp aftertaste.
The organic fruit tea taste is quite pleasant. It’s sweet but refreshing, and adding ice enhances the flavor.
However, the high price of over 350 yen for 269ml is a downside.
ORGANIQ Energy Ingredients
Contains guarana, acai, and yerba mate. Interestingly, the caffeine content is not listed, despite the "for caffeine-sensitive people" label.
Various organic certification logos from different countries are displayed. In Japan, the certification was not obtained in time for release.
ORGANIQ Design
The design features colors reminiscent of the Brazilian flag, making it stand out on shelves.
The messaging "natural ingredients" and "first in Japan" might not strongly appeal as an energy drink, but the later focus on runners and the shift to gels was interesting. At over 350 yen for a carbonated drink, it’s not ideal for regular consumption.
It’s a pity to see energy drinks from the first boom disappear.
