Chemical Flavor Similar to Oronamin C

When opened, the scent is subtle. There's no hint of the rich, traditional fragrance like that of RENER Original. Perhaps they've made it more refreshing since it's zero-calorie? The color is also quite bright.

Upon taking a sip, the flavor is a mix of citrus-like sourness, such as lemon or yuzu, with a medicinal bitterness from the chemical flavor. While there's a slight echo of the RENER Original, the sweetness and fragrance are missing. Instead, it has a strong acidic and chemical taste, resembling something like Oronamin C.

The sourness and chemical flavor linger on the palate, making it quite distinctive. Therefore, if you're not a fan of artificial sweeteners or strong chemical flavors, this might be a bit too much for you.

Energy Ingredients of RENER ZERO Calorie

Contains 90mg of caffeine, 70mg of carnitine, and 3000mg of citric acid. Unlike the original, RENER ZERO Calorie doesn't include arginine.

The strong citrusy sourness might be largely due to the generous amount of citric acid. Citric acid is known to help with fatigue recovery, and 3000mg is roughly equivalent to or even more than what you'd find in sour lemon beverages.

Unlike the bright red original, the mirror silver aluminum can gives a somewhat cheap impression, which is a bit disappointing. Just a light matte finish on the surface might elevate the quality feel.

The design is simple, but if this becomes part of a series with more colorful variations, it would make a great visual impact. Having several flavors lined up at the gym would be quite impressive.

With the fitness boom, if the ingredients are tailored to specific needs, it would be easier to recommend them to gym members. Plus, at just 150 yen per can, it's affordable and easy to buy.
