Siti EnerG KAMIKAZE
Siti EnerG Kamikaze, a budget energy drink from the Siti EnerG series sold at Lidl supermarkets in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The Siti EnerG series launched with three flavors, all non-alcoholic recreations of cocktail-inspired flavors. The cheap and nonsensical design is part of its charm. Let's enjoy this obscure brand that feels like it just appeared out of nowhere.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Flavor of Refreshing Bitter Citrus Lime
Oh, this can color gives off an artificial blue! It's easy to recognize and looks very much like an energy drink (*´艸`*). The menthol and lime scent is quite strong. Let's give it a try!
Upon tasting, the moderately fruity tartness adds a nice accent to the citrus bitter flavor. This is delicious (๑´ڡ`๑).
It has a lime-like scent, but the flavor itself reminds me of apple and kiwi. If you say it’s lime, that’s possible, but the tartness isn’t strong enough for it to be just lime flavor on its own.
The aftertaste leaves a faintly sweet and sour apple-kiwi flavor that fades away quickly. With the strong lime and menthol aroma, this level of clean taste is just right. It’s an easy-to-drink flavor.
What’s particularly noticeable is the menthol freshness. You don’t feel it much when you first sip, but after drinking, it creates a strong, cool, and refreshing menthol sensation that rises from your stomach... It might be a bit intense Σ(´∀`;). The cold feeling lasts inside your body.
At around 80 yen per can, it’s probably best enjoyed as a fun novelty.
By the way, "Kamikaze" is said to be a cocktail that originated in the U.S. There are various theories, including that it’s named after the sharp taste reminiscent of the Japanese Kamikaze suicide pilots, or that it was created at the Yokosuka naval base.
Energy Ingredients of Siti EnerG KAMIKAZE
It contains 80mg of caffeine and 1000mg of taurine. Though it’s a budget energy drink, it contains energy ingredients on par with major energy drinks.
Design of Siti EnerG KAMIKAZE
The retro dot pattern with the dynamic "EnerG" logo.
By the way, there’s also an F1-like design on the back barcode, but it probably has no connection to any racing sponsorships (^_^;).
There are quite a few points to poke fun at, but I think it's best enjoyed as a budget energy drink novelty.
