In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. Taste of KNOCKOUT ENERGY Punch

I’m not a promoter of Knockout Energy, but this Punch is made so well, with its color, aroma, and taste, it doesn’t seem like it costs just $1.
First, the color. It’s exactly the same as the can’s color. I personally prefer it this way—it makes me excited just imagining the color when I buy it.
I’d be disappointed if I poured it and it turned out yellow instead of this amazing red.

The taste is a strong, sour punch. It’s a mix of acerola’s sourness with the rich sweetness of mango and peach. It’s very thick, not watery at all. You can even feel the thickness like you’re chewing it. The taste matches the deep red color perfectly. Sometimes, punch-flavored drinks can have an overpowering sugar taste, but this one doesn’t have that at all, making it very easy to drink.
The aftertaste is nice and not overly sour, leaving a good lingering flavor ( ´∀`)b

Compared to the lighter Rockstar Punch, this one is much richer, so I’d recommend Knockout Energy Punch if you're hungry.

Is it the Limit of Independent Small Brands, or Something Else...?

This drink tastes so good and is so affordable that I feel it could sell well, but it probably doesn’t have the background of a well-established energy drink brand.
Especially in America, the top 3 brands dominate, with companies like NOS so far ahead that 4th place and below aren’t even in sight.
So, for small independent brands like Knockout, it seems they have to focus on mass sales rather than building a strong brand image through promotion. Maybe I’m exaggerating with "mass sales" (*ノω・*)テヘ
But considering Americans who can’t spend $2-$3 on an energy drink every time, this flavor seems to be well-accepted by people who enjoy sweet drinks.
I’d love to watch how people react when they buy Knockout Energy in stores.
