日本独特の甘い王道系に辛い生姜を入れたゲテモノフレーバー誕生

日本では2014年のエナジードリンクブームの頃、なぜか生姜を入れて辛くしたエナジードリンクが大量に発売されました。厄介なことに王道系フレーバーの甘い味に生姜を入れるもんだから何をしたいのかわからないゲテモノフレーバーが完成してしまったんですね・・・(ヽ´ω`)

結局エナジードリンクブームが過ぎ去った後、日本では生姜を入れたフレーバーは消え去りました。

大正製薬やハウスなどの大企業が既存の栄養ドリンクのような「効きそうな刺激」を加えて作ってしまったのでしょう。エナジードリンクを辛口ジンジャーエールなど爽快感と辛さの刺激の組み合わせはわかりますが甘い王道系にジンジャーは衝撃的で混沌とした時期だったと言えます。

海外は奇をてらったフレーバーは少ない傾向

世界ではシナモンを含み風味豊かで重厚感のある味わいを再現したり、ジンジャーを配合していても爽やかさとマッチして爽快感が得られるものなど、飲料として楽しめるものが多い印象です。
