At just 0.79 euros for 500ml, it’s incredibly affordable. What’s also exciting about European private brand energy drinks is that they are offered at low prices, and new flavors are regularly released, so every visit to the local store presents a fresh discovery.

Upon taking a sip, the dense sweetness of sugar dominates, with a flavor reminiscent of guava juice, though it contains no actual fruit juice. The taste and scent are so intense that you can immediately tell just how much sugar is packed in.

Looking at the nutritional information, I was surprised to see that one can contains 80g of sugar. It really feels like the flavor is being boosted primarily by sugar.

If you’ve enjoyed other full-sugar guava-flavored drinks released by various brands, I think FLYING POWER's guava flavor stands out as one of the best when it comes to a pronounced sweetness.

When drinking with ice, the guava flavor becomes even more prominent, and the refreshing taste really shines through.

On the flip side, it’s a bit daunting to think that you're consuming 80g of sugar in one can... While it’s tasty, the carb content is personally a bit too much for me to want to repeat.

Containing 160mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, glucuronolactone, ginseng, and guarana, this energy drink is packed with energy ingredients that are comparable to top brands, despite being a private label product.

With 80g of sugar, this drink goes against the global trend of reducing sugar intake. Although it’s a European product and not directly relevant to Japan, if you do decide to try it, it might be a good idea to share it with a few people.

When you see it on store shelves, it really makes a big impression. Though it’s a private label product, the case color is black, which pairs well with the black top, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the total design came together.
