This is a review of STRONG FORCE X-TREME SOUR APPLE EXPLOSION, released in 2020 as part of the STRONG FORCE series, a private brand from the German supermarket chain ALDI.

Originally released in the "FLYING POWER" series in 2017, it was rebranded as "STRONG FORCE" in 2020 for reasons unknown.

During my trip to Germany in 2020, both "FLYING POWER" and "STRONG FORCE" versions were available, with stocks from both series mixed together. Although the series name is different, "STRONG FORCE" was discontinued with only these three flavors, so I am classifying it under the "FLYING POWER" series.

Upon taking a sip, the pleasant tang of sour apple with a slight, lingering sweetness of apple’s sweet and sour taste remains, giving a true fruit-like flavor.

This apple-like essence enhances the sourness of the sour apple, which is key. It creates a balance between a strong tang and satisfying aftertaste. I didn't expect to enjoy this fruit-flavored, refreshing sour apple so much for just 0.49 euros, which is incredibly cheap for a supermarket's private brand product.

Contains 160mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, glucuronolactone, guarana, and ginseng. Although taurine seems a bit lower than usual, the energy ingredients are standard for an energy drink.

The design features a refreshing green apple color. While the design feels a bit cheap and isn’t very stylish, it’s understandable since this is a private brand product. The black-and-white part at the top of the can has a cool vibe, and if the entire design had followed that theme, the impression might have been very different.
