This is a review of STRONG FORCE X-TREME SOUR RASPBERRY STRIKE, released in 2020 as part of the STRONG FORCE series, which is a private brand from the German supermarket chain ALDI.

Originally, this product was released in 2017 as part of the "FLYING POWER" series, but it was rebranded in 2020 as part of the "STRONG FORCE" series.

During my trip to Germany in 2020, both "FLYING POWER" and "STRONG FORCE" stock were mixed together. Although the series name changed, I classify "STRONG FORCE" under the "FLYING POWER" series since it was discontinued after these three flavors.

Sour and Sweet Raspberry Candy Flavor

The drink has a clear, natural red raspberry color. The scent has no fruitiness, but instead, a rich berry candy fragrance. Now, let's take a sip.

Upon tasting, a strong sourness dominates, followed by a tart cranberry flavor.

The sourness feels a bit overpowering, but the cranberry flavor is rich and lingers for a while, giving the impression of drinking a liquid cranberry candy.

The intense sourness and the strong cranberry candy flavor made it difficult to finish the 500ml, as it felt too sour and too rich. That's the only impression I have.

The combination of red and purple is perfect for a berry mix flavor, like raspberry or blueberry.

The font style and overall design lack cohesion and come across as tacky, with the cheap supermarket PB energy drink vibe standing out. However, the white/black portion at the top of the can, combined with the flavor colors and music-themed design, is cool, so it's a shame the rest of the design doesn't match.
