This is one of the Halloween collaboration series from 2023, G FUEL CHUCKY GOOD GUYS, sold through GNC and FYE online.

I went to the U.S. during Halloween 2023 and searched for it, but couldn’t find it... However, in 2024, I was able to purchase it after it was imported to Australia! Because of this, I’m listing the price in AUD instead of USD.

Flavor of G FUEL CHUCKY GOOD GUYS

When I opened the can, a citrusy, grapefruit-like scent burst out. The liquid itself is a pale yellow, typical of the G FUEL series, with no artificial coloring. Let's give it a taste.

Upon sipping, the clear and light texture spreads a subtle citrus fruit flavor, with a faint taste of pear. The flavor is so mild that it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what it is.

According to G FUEL, this flavor is described as "Tropical Blood Orange," but the actual taste is more of a gentle citrus aroma with a slight hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. I found it hard to classify as tropical fruits or blood orange, as many would expect.

There’s no juicy fruitiness or tanginess to it, so if I had known the official flavor description before purchasing, I would have been disappointed by how mild it is.

It’s not just a mild flavor—it also struggles to replicate the flavor it’s supposed to emulate. The packaging design is great, but unfortunately, it falls short in terms of flavor.

This drink contains 140mg of caffeine, theanine, tyrosine, zinc, as well as green coffee, green tea, turmeric, cherry, blueberry, broccoli, and kale.

Originally, G FUEL products were known for containing 300mg of caffeine, but since 2022, they started introducing a version with 140mg of caffeine.

As of now, there hasn’t been a new G FUEL energy drink released since the 2023 Halloween series, so it’s unclear if this new icon will become a standard design. Perhaps this marks the end of the energy drink series?

Here are the three flavors from the Halloween series. I don’t think anyone could imagine that such an impactful design would lead to a mild flavor...

In the U.S., sales began before Halloween 2023, and I stayed in the country for an extended period but couldn’t find a single can. Even after traveling to different regions of the U.S., I was unable to find it.

However, in 2024, I was lucky enough to come across all three flavors at a store during a trip to Australia.
