This is G FUEL DREAM DEMON, one of the Halloween collaboration series released in 2023 by 2nd & Charles and FYE online stores.

I searched for it in the U.S. during Halloween 2023, but couldn’t find it... However, I was able to purchase it in 2024 when it was imported to Australia! Therefore, the price listed is in Australian dollars, not U.S. dollars.

When I opened the can, a sweet candy-like aroma of peach and strawberry candy wafted out. Like the other two Halloween flavors, the scent is quite faint. Let's take a sip.

As I take a sip, the flavor spreads with a gentle sweetness, like peach and strawberry candies, refreshing and light. The scent is subtle, and the sweetness is restrained, creating a clear, smooth drinking experience with no strong punch.

According to G FUEL’s official description, it’s a “tart fruit punch flavor.” I see—maybe the subtle sweetness is meant to replicate the tartness of a fruit tart? However, the tart flavor doesn’t quite come through strongly.

If I had to link this to a tart flavor, it would be a peach or strawberry tart. If I hadn’t known about the “tart fruit punch” label beforehand, I wouldn’t have considered this a tart fruit flavor due to its light taste.

This “lightness” is common across all the Halloween collaboration flavors this year. The stark contrast between the intense can design and the rather mild flavor leaves a sense of disappointment. Additionally, the weak flavor and scent make it hard to imagine a distinct taste. It might have been better if both the flavor and scent were stronger and more impactful.

It contains 140mg of caffeine, theanine, tyrosine, zinc, along with green coffee, green tea, turmeric, cherry, blueberry, broccoli, and kale.

Originally, G FUEL’s characteristic feature was 300mg of caffeine, but since 2022, versions with 140mg of caffeine have been introduced.

The design features Freddy’s claw marks tearing through the can, using dark red, black, and white colors that evoke the slasher movie vibe. It captures the essence of the "Nightmare on Elm Street" world.

The dark atmosphere of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” is similarly expressed in the “Friday the 13th” edition released simultaneously. Even if you’re not a fan, it’s hard not to want one after seeing it.

The “zero calories” and “140mg caffeine” icons are prominently displayed on the front, something new for the G FUEL series.

Since there haven’t been any new releases after 2023, it’s unclear whether this will remain exclusive to the Halloween series or be incorporated into future G FUEL products. It would be nice if these icons became standard, making it easier to understand.

The icons on the back have also changed from previous G FUEL designs, now accompanied by text, making it look more sophisticated than the old ones.

Couldn't Find It in the U.S., Bought in Australia

I stayed in the U.S. during Halloween 2023, but I couldn’t find any of the three flavors.

I traveled to different regions in the U.S. after Halloween, but still couldn’t find them...

However, during my trip to Australia in 2024, I lucked out and found all three flavors imported into a supplement shop!

I knew that many U.S. supplement brands have their energy drinks imported to Australia, so I was hopeful that these Halloween flavors might also be available here.

To my surprise, all three were stocked at one store, and they didn’t sell out until after the next Halloween season.

The price was also very reasonable at 6.5 AUD, which was a lucky find, considering they were imported. Once you experience the thrill of discovering and purchasing something yourself, it’s hard to resist. If you can’t find these in the U.S., I highly recommend trying to track them down during an Australian trip.
