Upon tasting, it has a pleasant balance of sweetness and tartness with a refreshing cherry flavor. There's no richness or fruitiness like actual cherry fruit, nor the deep complexity and richness of fruit punch that I initially expected from the aroma.

The sweetness is light and crisp, and there's a subtle aftertaste of sweet and sour cherry flavor. Overall, it has a light and refreshing taste with a touch of an artificially sweetened, child-friendly drink flavor.

If you're expecting a rich cherry punch, this isn't it. However, if you prefer a lighter, sugar-free cherry punch, you might enjoy it more by adding plenty of ice to enhance the refreshing feeling.

It contains 140mg of caffeine, theanine, tyrosine, zinc, as well as green coffee, green tea, turmeric, cherry, blueberry, broccoli, and kale.

Originally, the G FUEL series was known for having 300mg of caffeine, but since 2022, products with a smaller 140mg caffeine content have started appearing. It doesn't seem like all products have switched to this lower amount, but energy drinks in collaboration with children's anime and games tend to feature 140mg of caffeine.

The entire can is covered with a retro design based on the Pac-Man game screen, making it stand out. Both Pac-Man and the cherry, which matches the flavor, are depicted in pixels, successfully recreating the 8-color game screen.

Unlike the usual design, the swirling graphic behind the G FUEL logo is absent, which helps the Pac-Man design stand out more, and this is a nice touch.
