Released in July 2023, the "G FUEL SPIDER MAN 'VERSE' GLITCH MIX" was a limited edition release exclusively at Vitamin Shoppe.

This collaboration celebrates the release of "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse." In addition to the dark-colored version reviewed here, there was also a red version of G FUEL SPIDER MAN 'VERSE' GLITCH MIX released exclusively at GNC at the same time.

When I take a sip, the sweet, smooth coconut flavor envelops the taste buds. The texture is soft, and there is little presence of flavors other than coconut water, making it almost enjoyable as a pure coconut flavor.

The flavor name is "Strawberry, Guava, Coconut," but the strawberry and guava notes are very faint, and many might barely notice them. If we were to express this flavor as something other than coconut, "Coconut Tropical Mix" would be the closest description. The strawberry and guava taste and aroma are nearly non-existent.

Additionally, the sweet coconut aroma and flavor mix with what is likely an attempt to recreate the strawberry and guava flavors, resulting in a custard-like sweetness that is quite interesting.

Overall, the flavor feels like it doesn’t fully capture the essence of each fruit, settling into a somewhat half-hearted taste. It’s probably best enjoyed with a light-hearted mindset, as a commemorative drink for the collaboration rather than for its taste.

Originally, G FUEL was known for its 300mg caffeine content in its products, but since 2022, versions with a smaller 140mg caffeine content have started to appear. It doesn’t seem like all products have switched to 140mg, but those geared toward children, like anime and game collaborations, are generally sold with this lower dose.
