The third installment of the Gabunomi Energy Drink series. This product is a renewal of the previous orange flavor released in 2020 as a limited edition, but since the product name has not changed, it's hard to distinguish between them. For now, I've referred to it as "Green."

The product name remains the same as the previous one, "Gabunomi X Freedom Energy," but the contents are green, and the package design has changed... Has the taste changed as well!?

Flavor of a Slightly Chemical Energy Drink Taste

The scent is reminiscent of a shaved ice flavor, something between melon soda and an indescribable aroma. The contents are a beautifully glowing green, perfect for enjoying the energy drink vibe.

Now, let's try it. The flavor has a faint chemical note, with a straightforward energy drink taste, similar to that of Oronamin C. Unlike the previous orange flavor, the green one is more refreshing, with no lingering aftertaste, making it easy to gulp down.

The artificial flavor gives it a taste that's immediately recognizable as "an energy drink flavor," but the lack of a strong umami makes it feel a bit lacking, and the overall flavor feels somewhat cheap.

The previous orange version of Gabunomi X Freedom Energy leaned towards the taste of Monster Energy Original, but this green version has a different flavor profile. Unless you’ve written a review, you might forget the previous taste pretty quickly. (^_^;)

The flavor is less punchy than expected, so if you're expecting a strong energy drink taste, you might be a little disappointed. However, it’s precisely because it’s this easy to drink that you can gulp down a whole 500ml bottle. If the taste or aroma were too strong, it would be too much for such a large volume.

Contains 77mg of caffeine and 70mg of arginine. Arginine has been added to the Gabunomi Energy Green this time.

Targeting middle and high school students, the ingredients are on the lighter side. Unless you're aiming for an adult or athlete’s energy drink, this amount of caffeine is probably sufficient.

A large glowing "X" is featured prominently. It’s a bit hard to read, but the message “#To the Unknown Self” is written in the shining X. This is the cringe-worthy vibe you expect from Gabunomi Energy.

The back also features a Gabunomi energy poem. With so many products that have no message at all, it’s nice to see phrases that feel appropriately energy drink-like. I’m looking forward to seeing how far Gabunomi Energy will go with this theme. (*´艸｀*)
