Flavor of Gas Monkey ENERGY DRINK
When I take a sip, I get a fruity aroma followed by a sweet and tangy white grape-like flavor mixed with a chemical taste… it’s hard to describe.
It’s not exactly a classic energy drink flavor. The rich, tangy blend of white grape and plum is fruity and refreshing, but just as I start to enjoy it, a chemical-like bitterness kicks in and makes the taste a bit off. The combination of fruity and medicinal notes feels somewhat unbalanced, making it hard to fully enjoy (^_^;)
The white grape and plum mix alone would have been delicious enough—I wish they had stopped there. Just because it’s an energy drink doesn’t mean it needs that unpleasant chemical aftertaste. Personally, if it were just the white grape and plum flavors, I would have rated it much higher.

Contains 160mg of caffeine, taurine, ginseng, guarana, and honey. A pretty standard energy blend.
Design of Gas Monkey ENERGY DRINK
The intense monkey illustration makes a strong impression. The contrast between the black can and neon green adds to its edgy look. I never expected to see an energy drink with a design like this in today’s market! Σ(´∀｀；)
It features a black tab. Originally, it had a silver tab, but at some point, they switched to black. I appreciate that attention to detail.
The brand doesn’t feel overly polished or carefully crafted, yet it has surprisingly lasted over five years. It mainly sponsors motorsports. But seriously, where does the funding come from…!?
Oh, and one more thing—Gas Monkey has been falsely listed as a "rare" product on Japanese auction and flea market sites, but in reality, it’s nothing of the sort. Don’t be fooled by misleading online claims (；´∀｀) It’s so frustrating how almost every foreign energy drink gets labeled as "rare" or "hard to find" for no reason.
