Upon opening the can, a sweet and rich vanilla aroma bursts forth, accompanied by the dense scent of cherries. I particularly enjoy the vanilla fragrance, which raises my expectations for the flavor.

When I take a sip, I notice the sweet and sour taste of black cherry, a scent reminiscent of mothballs, and a vanilla aroma that lingers.

The mothball-like scent appears to be a result of the artificial black cherry flavoring. This might not appeal to those seeking the taste of real black cherries.

It’s decidedly an artificial zero-sugar black cherry vanilla composition, making it a perfect match for those who enjoy the chemically fruity flavors of drinks like Dr Pepper.

The drink contains 200mg of caffeine, 1000mg of acetyl-L-tyrosine for cognitive enhancement, 400mg of Alpha-GPC as a precursor to acetylcholine to improve brain function, 200mg of uridine monophosphate for stress relief, 100mg of theanine for relaxation, 15mg of saffron extract for reducing stress and anxiety, and 200mcg of huperzine A for cognitive enhancement.

From the composition of its energy ingredients, it’s clear that the focus is primarily on enhancing brain and cognitive functions and stabilizing mental well-being.

As someone who is personally interested in and often researches nootropic ingredients, I can tell that this formulation is tailored more toward cognitive and mental performance than physical performance, aligning well with the brand’s image.

The logo design, featuring not just a gorilla’s face but also a brain, effectively conveys the nootropic energy drink concept. Interestingly, this brain logo is not used on GORILLA MIND’s main supplement products but is exclusively reserved for the energy drink series and nootropic supplements.

The back of the can is straightforward, with logos depicting its effects and a grid layout displaying the energy ingredients.

However, the design strongly resembles that of GHOST ENERGY. It’s strikingly similar in structure, to the point where one might question if such a resemblance was necessary. While it’s unlikely to cause significant trouble, I imagine GHOST ENERGY wouldn’t be too pleased with the similarities.
