In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

Flavor of HELL ENERGY ZERO

HELL CLASSIC's version with zero calories and zero sugar, the scent is a classic, commonly found in Japan, and the color is, as you can see, a traditional yellow.

HELL ENERGY ZERO
The flavor is very similar to Red Bull Sugar-Free, with a strong emphasis on artificial sweeteners. It's slightly sweet, with a strong acidity, and the aftertaste doesn't linger much. There's a distinct medicinal-like scent after drinking it.

For those who like a traditional zero-zero flavor with a strong acidity and a mild sweetness, this is recommended.

However, if you're not a fan of artificial sweeteners, you may not be able to finish a 250ml can. It's crafted in a way that lets you really notice the artificial sweetener taste, so be cautious Σ(´∀`;)

Energy Ingredients of HELL ENERGY ZERO

Contains 80mg of caffeine. No other notable energy ingredients are included.

Design of HELL ENERGY ZERO

HELL ENERGY ZERO
The design features a white main color, clearly indicating that it's sugar-free. It's simple, but somehow this is the most fitting look.

The HELL ZERO I reviewed is a bit older, with a simpler design without a large HELL logo on the can. It hadn't yet established the high-end or cool brand image.

In 2015, all HELL series products were renewed, and the cans were redesigned to reflect the more refined HELL brand.
