HOT6 ENERGY DRINK FRUITS
This is the fruit-flavored variant of HOT6. Since it's part of an ongoing series, there's a chance we might see even more flavors in the future.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

HOT6 ENERGY DRINK FRUITS Flavor

HOT6 ENERGY DRINK FRUITS
I initially thought it might contain tea extracts, but it seems that's not the case. The fragrance is a refreshing tropical fruit scent. The color is slightly cloudy, likely due to the fruit juice content.

The taste is very much like tropical fruit. The sweetness isn't overwhelming, and it's light enough to drink quickly. With only 250ml, I found myself finishing it before I even realized it (;´∀`). Since it's purely a fruit flavor, there's no lingering aftertaste like tea or herbal drinks, which was a nice surprise!

HOT6 ENERGY DRINK FRUITS Ingredients

The taurine content is 1000mg, and the caffeine is 60mg, which is the same as the original HOT6. The BCAA and other ingredients seem to be similar as well.

In the case of HOT6 Fruits, in addition to the energy ingredients, there’s also fruit juice included, and it's specifically noted in the ingredients list, which was surprising. The fruit juice includes 14% mandarin from Israel, 4% white grape from Chile, and 2% apple from South Korea. In the U.S., they typically just list a generic percentage, but in South Korea, they provide specific amounts and even the country of origin!

The refreshing taste likely comes from the white grape and apple juices. Altogether, it contains 20% fruit juice. You might think "only 20%," but in fact, this is a fairly high amount. Many drinks from Rockstar and Monster are less than 10%, and the most fruit juice-rich drink that is easily accessible is Japan's Chaos at 50%.

Personally, I think it would be interesting if we started seeing more drinks with a higher fruit juice percentage, especially with freshly squeezed options! (u_u*)
