Released in 2019, the "HOT6 THE KING POWER" is part of the HOT6 THE KING series. Despite the product name including "POWER," it seems to be a renewed version of the original drink that was previously released. The volume has been increased to 355ml, now matching the size of the strong competitor, Monster Energy. Additionally, ingredients such as maca, carnitine, and ginseng have been added.

The color is rich, similar to the original HOT6. The aroma has the typical scent of a classic energy drink flavor.

When I take a sip, it has the familiar bitter medicinal taste of an energy drink, typical of HOT6, mixed with the sweet and clean aftertaste of a classic energy drink flavor. The flavor may feel a bit harsh at first. The herbal, medicinal taste is quite distinctive, so those who dislike it may find it hard to drink.

The flavor itself seems almost identical to the previous HOT6. I had a 250ml original purchased at the same time, so let’s compare the two.

When I tasted them, both flavors were almost identical. It seems that HOT6 THE KING POWER didn't change the taste, but simply revamped the ingredients and increased the volume. Those who have been drinking the original HOT6 will likely enjoy this without feeling any difference.

It contains 100mg of caffeine, 5mg of maca, 10mg of L-carnitine, and 1000mg of taurine. While the amounts of maca and carnitine seem a bit low, the other ingredients are at typical levels for energy drinks.

The can follows the same color scheme as the previous 250ml cans, with a bird logo, and you can immediately tell it’s part of the "THE KING" series. However, the overall design has a bit too much text, and it feels a bit overwhelming—maybe a little too cluttered.

At the top of the can, there’s a list of ingredients commonly found on energy drinks. This gives it a more international, overseas-style look.

The pull tab is a color tab featuring a crown for the first time in HOT6, giving the can a design reminiscent of overseas energy drinks.

This THE KING POWER was discontinued after the brand renewal the following year. It had a surprisingly short lifespan. Perhaps the difference from the existing 250ml HOT6 was not clear enough.
