In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Flavor of KAMIKAZE ENERGY Creaming Soda
Upon opening the can, a sweet cream and candy-like aroma fills the air. Both the fragrance and the color are almost identical to the previous version. It seems that the Creaming Soda has only received a packaging redesign. Let’s take a sip and find out.
When I take a sip, I experience a creamy sweetness and a pleasantly tangy candy-like flavor. The taste is indeed the same as the previous version.
When it was first released, the flavor felt perfectly crafted, so it seems this time the change was limited to just the packaging.
The creamy and smooth taste is recreated through its aroma, while the flavor itself is a sweet and tangy candy flavor.
Both the taste and the aroma are strong, creating a satisfying experience that doesn't feel like a typical zero-sugar drink. The flavor isn’t overly intense, and it leaves no lingering aftertaste—just a natural taste. This is because the sweet and creamy flavor is enjoyed purely through the aroma.
Of course, there is no unpleasant artificial sweetener taste, and the quality is so high that you might forget it's a zero-sugar drink.
Energy Ingredients of KAMIKAZE ENERGY Creaming Soda
Contains 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, 2000mg of citrulline for pump, 1000mg of beta-alanine for endurance, and 300mg of tyrosine for brain function.
Design of KAMIKAZE ENERGY Creaming Soda
The design is characterized by creamy bubbles spilling from a matte pink can.
The vivid pink is so intense that it might even hurt your eyes, but this pink doesn’t quite match the color and flavor of the drink inside... so the can’s impression doesn’t quite align with the product inside.
The back of the can features a combination of pink and light blue. For other KAMIKAZE ENERGY products, the logo typically incorporates green, but this one doesn’t.
Therefore, the combination of pink, green, blue, and the white text gives the design a bit of a cluttered look. It might have been better if the colors were more cohesive.
Here is a comparison of the old and new KAMIKAZE ENERGY Creaming Soda designs.
Looking at just the front of the can, the new design is more cohesive in color, simple, and with a striking impact. If we’re just talking about the front of the can, I might actually prefer the new pink design. Which one do you like more?
