Flavor of KIIVA ENERGY GABA
When opened, a soft, sweet fragrance is accompanied by a slight chemical scent. The color is a light pink, similar to KIIVA HYDRATION. Could it be that the taste follows the pink-themed series like KIIVA HYDRATION? Let's try it right away.
Upon sipping, it has a mildly sweet taste, with a strong zero-sugar artificial flavor. The aftertaste has a light artificial sweetener note that quickly fades. There's no distinct flavor, but if I had to describe it, it's a faintly sweet, non-sour, thin strawberry candy flavor.
The taste concept may be similar to KIIVA HYDRATION, given that the color is the same.
According to KIIVA, the flavor is inspired by "mixed fruits" and "passion fruit." However, with a light and subtle taste and fragrance, the artificial aftertaste tends to dominate, making it more suitable for those who enjoy a chemical flavor rather than fruity ones.
If you add ice and chill it thoroughly, the already mild sweetness fades entirely, and the chemical flavor becomes more pronounced.
In particular, the artificial sweetener's aftertaste increases, so if you enjoy a stronger chemical flavor, I recommend drinking it with ice.

This can alleviate stress, improve sleep quality, and promote relaxation. But what happens when it's combined with caffeine, which has opposing effects?
GABA is also known to be beneficial for quality sleep, so it could serve as a caffeine-free recovery energy drink.

Unlike the sharp design of the Tommy Rim common to the KIIVA series, this can features a simple, solid black design.

While the flavor is not immediately clear from the design, the "HYDRATION" label at the bottom may indicate the same flavor as KIIVA HYDRATION. It's a bit unclear whether this is a series-specific product name or a functional expression word.
The back features KIIVA's energy poem. It would have been nice to see a poem about GABA or the zero-sugar aspect, but I'll look forward to the next release's poem!
