When poured into a glass, the color is a bright, gentle yellow, different from what I expected. Unlike the clear appearance of traditional drinks, it has a slightly cloudy look. A chemical-like scent fills the room.

The moment it touches your lips, the chemical flavor spreads with the scent. The sweetness of fruits like apple and banana mixes with a medicinal taste, and there is almost no bitterness or sourness.

There is no lingering aftertaste or residue, and the flavor is surprisingly gentle for a chemical-flavored drink. It has the refreshing taste of a children's medicinal syrup with carbonation added... which might be an easier way to imagine it. If chilled and drunk with ice, the refreshing feeling is even better.

Unlike many medicinal-tasting drinks like Rockstar in America or Survivor in Japan, which are often too bitter, sour, and strongly chemical-smelling, KiiVA EXTREME is a chemical-flavored drink that is easier to drink, even for beginners.

It contains 160mg of caffeine, 625mg of arginine, and 225mg of guarana.

Given its large 500ml size, it's unlikely you'll drink several cans in a short period, but if you frequently consume coffee or small amounts of energy drinks daily, be cautious about your caffeine intake.

Design of KiiVA EXTREME

The design, created by TOMMII LIM, features a black can with red lines. The contrast between the thick and thin white and black lines gives a slightly different impression from his usual style. With just the red line, it may be hard to tell if it's a TOMMII LIM design at first glance.

The KiiVA Vodka, also designed by TOMMII LIM, is a striking example of his work, fully capturing his style on the can. I'd love to see more white and black designs for energy long cans.

The tab is silver. Both red and black tabs could work as the theme color, so there's a lot to look forward to. With that in mind, I hope the can shape is also made smoother!
