In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Sweet Fruit Mix Flavor
The liquid inside is a bright, transparent floral pink. I was expecting a more vibrant pink, so this gives off a gentle impression.
When I took a sip, it had a mild, sweet fruit mix flavor with a slight tang. The taste is mainly a blend of sweet apple and peach, with a smooth, hidden banana flavor in the aftertaste.
Contrary to the design of the can, the sweetness isn’t overpowering, and the punch isn’t as strong as expected. The fruit juice content is only 1%, so the fruity essence and texture are minimal, almost like a synthetic sugar-based fruit juice.
With a mild punch and no chemical aftertaste, it’s very easy to drink. The 250ml can is small enough to drink quickly, but it contains a surprising 160mg of caffeine! While easy to drink, the extremely high caffeine content might be dangerous if consumed in excess Σ(´∀`;).
Energy Ingredients of Miracle Energy V Punch
Contains 160mg of caffeine, 325mg of arginine, 25mg of carnitine, and BCAAs (valine, leucine, and isoleucine). Miracle Energy V has undergone multiple upgrades, and it's surprising to see the caffeine content reach 160mg.
It also includes taurine, which is characteristic of the Miracle Energy V series. Although the fruit juice content is just 1%, it contains orange, apple, pineapple, peach, and banana flavors.
At around ¥100 per can, Miracle Energy V Punch is affordable and many people might buy it in bulk to keep stocked. Drinking two cans brings you close to the daily caffeine limit of 400mg, so it’s important to be mindful not to overconsume.
Design of Miracle Energy V Punch
The combination of pink, yellow, and lime green is very eye-catching! The design also features a blazing sun-like sphere, characteristic of the Miracle Energy V series. The can is packed with text information in every direction!
There’s text even in the smallest gaps! You can find catchphrases tucked in here and there.
Overall, the can is finished with vivid, enticing colors that make you want to give it a try. The taste might be less punchy than you expect, which could be a letdown, but on the other hand, it might pleasantly surprise you with how easy it is to drink despite its vibrant appearance.
I hope they continue to release new limited-edition flavors in the future. With its colorful design, it’s bound to catch anyone’s eye.
