When you open the can, a sweet milk and vanilla aroma fills the air. There is no roasty coffee scent, and it gives the impression of yet another sweet coffee energy drink. Since it's "French Vanilla," it seems obvious that it will have a sweet coffee flavor. Let's give it a try.

When you take a sip, the sweet and gentle milk flavor is there, but the taste itself still preserves the richness of coffee, delivering a genuine coffee experience that is characteristic of a Triple Shot.

In reality, the creamy sweetness is modest, and you can still taste the coffee flavor. The sweet and creamy flavor is mostly recreated through fragrance, which sets this apart from other JAVA MONSTER products.

So, while this is a sweet French Vanilla flavor, the texture is light, and the creamy mouthfeel is subtle. As I'm not a fan of overly sweet North American coffee, personally, this is a very easy-to-drink energy coffee. The focus here is not on taste, but on the fragrance.

This is the JAVA MONSTER TRIPLE SHOT FRENCH VANILLA released in Canada. It also contains 300mg of caffeine, and just like the original U.S. version, you can enjoy the milk flavor while still tasting the richness of coffee.

Since 2020, JAVA MONSTER has been releasing new energy coffee drinks that feature the true taste of coffee, rather than the overly sweet North American coffee flavors typical of the past. I personally welcome this change. In the past, my reviews of energy coffee were often a bit gloomy, but recently, I've only been enjoying the tasty options, and I feel like North American energy coffee is undergoing a transformation.

Energy Ingredients of JAVA MONSTER TRIPLE SHOT FRENCH VANILLA

Contains 300mg of caffeine, taurine, ginseng, inositol, and carnitine.

The sugar content is 34g, which feels slightly moderate, but since it contains milk, there is a higher amount of fats and proteins, resulting in a calorie count of 200kcal, which is typical for most energy drinks.

The design is inspired by the burlap sacks used to hold coffee beans. The caffeine content of 300mg is clearly marked above the Monster Energy logo.

The JAVA MONSTER TRIPLE SHOT series was released during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and during that time, the design changed from the old one to the current design. Although I was finally able to visit the U.S. later on, I thought the old design would be long gone from the stores.

However, when I visited Los Angeles, I discovered both designs were available in the same store! There are so many exciting things to experience when you travel abroad. I highly recommend visiting overseas!
