Flavor of JUICE MONSTER KHAOTIC

The scent is a bit more subtle than the previous Chaos. It feels like they've moved towards a more typical orange flavor for the fragrance.

Upon tasting, the sweet orange pulp and rich orange syrup are added with the signature artificial flavor of the original Chaos, giving a candy-like sweetness. Even with KHAOTIC, the original Chaos essence remains intact.

The fruit juice content in this KHAOTIC is only 10%, which is a third of the previous version, making it the least amount of fruit juice in the series.

At this point, the amount of juice no longer seems as important as recreating the unique flavors of the fruit. It’s crucial to make it delicious and have a flavor that makes you want to drink more.

In that sense, KHAOTIC meets the requirements well. The reformulation does not give off any impression of deterioration at all.

Thanks to its distinctive fragrance, you can still enjoy KHAOTIC's rich orange flavor even when ice is added. Personally, I enjoy it cold and gulping it down smoothly.

Comparison of Product and Sample Versions

I have a sales sample of KHAOTIC before it was released, so let’s compare it to the final product to see if there are any taste differences.

To sum it up in one sentence, there was no noticeable difference in the color, taste, or fragrance between the product and the sample (^_^;)
JUICE MONSTER PAPILLON, released at the same time, had its flavor changed between the sample and the final product. This shows that some products may undergo recipe or name changes right before release.

JUICE MONSTER KHAOTIC Outside the USA

I bought a KHAOTIC in Poland, and it also contains 10% fruit juice.

The taste is closer to a tropical fruit mix with a dominant orange flavor, which I personally enjoy a lot.

Here is the KHAOTIC from the UK. The orange is not as rich, and the overall hue is lighter and more vibrant. The fruit juice content is the same at 10%.

The color felt too bright, which seemed a bit odd, but the taste itself, like the other KHAOTIC versions, is a blend of tropical fruits with orange as the base. Compared to the Polish KHAOTIC, it retained a slightly unique flavor closer to the original KHAOS, similar to the American version.

Energy Ingredients of JUICE MONSTER KHAOTIC

Contains 160mg of caffeine, taurine, ginseng, maltodextrin, and inositol.

The 10% fruit juice mix consists of apple, orange, peach, tangerine, pineapple, and white grape. The complexity of the orange base flavor might come from the balance of these fruits.

Design of JUICE MONSTER KHAOTIC

The can is decorated with graffiti spray art in an orange theme, covering the entire surface. The butterfly smearing effect is also well done.

The design was created by LA graffiti artist RISK. It blends a classic energy drink vibe with an artistic touch, making it a personal favorite design of mine.

The combination of orange with a turquoise blue Monster logo is something we couldn’t have imagined with the original Chaos. This color scheme is the result of the collaboration with RISK, and it’s stunning from every angle.

To celebrate the release of KHAOTIC and PAPILLON, Monster Energy even held a campaign to win a custom-painted car by RISK. That’s some luxury!

KHAOTIC, which started as a juice-infused product in the long-standing Monster Energy history, is now available in beautiful cans. Will it be released in Japan as well?!
