Released around May 2015 as a summer exclusive in 7-Eleven stores in the United States, it later expanded to all locations by the summer. This was the third release in the Juice Monster series. When it first appeared with no prior warning, its striking color was so impactful that people wondered if it was a fake. Upon picking it up, its presence was undeniable.

There is no doubt that it was the most delicious Monster Energy of 2015, easily standing out above the rest.

Upon opening, a strong, sweet tropical fruit fragrance bursts out, and with the can's color and design, my excitement reaches its peak ((o(´∀｀)o)). This is absolutely spot on!

When poured into a glass, the drink is almost opaque with an orange color, typical of the juice-based Juice Monster. The fruit juice mixture is slightly cloudy. I had imagined it would be more pink like the can, so this was a bit of a surprise.

The flavor is exactly what the aroma suggests—rich and sweet tropical fruit mix, with peach and mango providing a sweet and juicy base, complemented by the sweetness and tang of pineapple, and the rich taste and fragrance of guava, passionfruit, and apple.

There’s even a subtle sweetness like that of banana mixed in, giving a perfect balance that spreads with the carbonation, refreshing the nose. The carbonation really enhances the brightness of each fruit flavor, making it amazing. Whether you drink it in big gulps or sip it slowly, the taste remains the same, making you crave more—it's a dangerously good flavor.

The aftertaste is minimal, which feels like the richness of the fruit juice. The lingering tropical fruit fragrance is just so pleasant (*´ｪ`*).

When chilled, the freshness intensifies, making it a perfect summer drink. Cold is best, but since it's not a thick, syrupy sweetness, it’s still enjoyable at room temperature.

Energy Ingredients of JUICE MONSTER PIPELINE PUNCH

It contains 160mg of caffeine, which is standard, along with taurine, ginseng, carnitine, and guarana, which are all part of the Monster Energy blend.

The juice contains apple, orange, guava, pineapple, and passionfruit.

It’s hard to believe that with just 16% juice, it delivers such a rich fruitiness, but if the juice content were any higher, it might become too thick and make you hesitate before the next sip. If you compare it to Japan's Khaos 50% and 30%, you might get the idea.
I think 16% juice is perfect for PIPELINE PUNCH.

The bright pink can stands out with Hawaiian-inspired hang loose graphics. Naturally, the entire can has a textured finish.

I didn’t think a package like this would be made, and when the PIPELINE PUNCH image surfaced with no leaks or prior hints, many people probably thought it was a fake. It’s that impactful in terms of color.

On the sides, there are tropical Hawaiian decorations, like hibiscus flowers. Having lived in Hawaii, just looking at it brings back the atmosphere, air, and fun of Hawaii (●´ω｀●). Anyone who loves Hawaii would definitely be drawn to this design.

True to its name, the back features a story about the winter North Shore and the Banzai Pipeline. For more about the famous surf spot, check out the video below.

With such a Hawaiian theme, it would have been interesting if it were released as a Hawaii-exclusive product ((o(´∀｀)o)).

Past JAVA series have included Hawaii-related items like the Kona Blend and Kona Cappuccino, so there might be more Hawaii-themed Monster Energy drinks in the future (●´ω｀●).
