Released in 2021, the Peach Tea flavor from the "MONSTER ENERGY DRAGON ICED TEA" series, a spin-off of the Rehab series, was launched with four different flavors at the same time.

Although it was supposed to be sold nationwide in the U.S., the distribution in stores was nearly nonexistent, causing the series to be mostly unknown to the general public and ultimately discontinued, making it feel like a bit of a lost gem.

When opened, a fresh peach aroma immediately bursts out. Among the four flavors in the Dragon Tea series, this one has the strongest fruity scent.

Upon tasting, you can enjoy a clear, refreshing sweetness with a black tea flavor, where the peach fragrance balances nicely with the tea leaf scent, giving you a delightful peach tea flavor.

It contains half the usual amount of sugar, but it does not have an intense peach flavor; instead, it has a clean, refreshing mouthfeel.

Since the peach flavor is adjusted with peach flavoring, it doesn't linger too much, offering a low-sugar taste and a smooth, non-carbonated drinking experience that seeps into your body.

With this refreshing and smooth taste, I think it could have been just as good with almost no sugar, like the usual Rehab series, and I’m left a bit puzzled by the half-sugar choice. What was the intention behind this? It’s a slightly questionable point throughout this big-sized Dragon Tea series.

Since it contains more sugar than the regular Rehab series, MONSTER ENERGY DRAGON ICED TEA might be better understood as a separate series, not just in appearance but in its composition as well.

The big-sized, oriental-themed Monster Energy cans would likely turn heads just with their appearance.

I initially thought it was a product intended to compete with brands like AriZona and Peace Tea, given the 24oz size and half-sugar, non-carbonated iced tea design. However, it strangely appeared in stores very rarely and was discontinued without ever having a chance to rival them in-store.
